West Hills is a part of the City of Los Angeles on the east slopes of the Simi Hills and west end of the San Fernando Valley.   It had a population of 23,622 in 2000, and 24,201 now, consisting of 90% Whites, 6.1% Asians, and 4.6% Hispanics.   West Hills is known for not much, except at a bedroom community at the west end of the San Fernando Valley   No highways pass through West Hills; however, U.S. Highway 101 (Ventura Freeway) is the main highway to the south, and State Route 118 is a few miles to the north.   The median family income is $92,555, pretty well off.   Additional information about West Hills can be found at West Hills Info site.
