Granite Mountains Wildflowers

The Granite Mountains are in the eastern Mojave Desert, within the East Mojave National Preserve, just north of I-40.   The flowers below were taken along the Al A. Alanson Trail on the UC Preserve Granite Mountains Research Station.

Arctostaphylos cf. parryana, disjunct manzanita (possibly Parry Manzanita - Ericaceae (Heath family)
