Manhole Covers of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
Burnaby is a small port town that is part of the Vancouver metropolis, located a few kilometers up river from Vancouver.   It occurs at an elevation of 0 to 1,200 feet above sea level.   Burnaby has a population of 202,799 residents (2002) and is the 3rd largest city in British Columbia.   Burnaby as established/incorporated in 1892, and incorporated as a city in 1992.   I lived here as a new baby while my father served as the interim pastor for a small Swedish Lutheran church.   We lived in the parsonage house, shown as it looks today.   Additional information about Burnaby can be found at Burnaby Info or at the official Burnaby City site.
