David Magney was an invited speaker to the CNPS Conservation Conference in mid-January 2015, held in San Jose, California.   Mr. Magney gave two talks: Lichens of Ventura County and Native Landscaping at Apricot Lane Farms.   He also presented a poster "Ventura County Floristics".   Each of the PowerPoint presentations for the two talks, as well as the poster, are provided here as PDFs.

Mr. Magney also served as a judge for the American Society of Plant Taxonomists' Cooley Award for the best student presentation.
David Magney gave a presentation on the Calleguas Creek Watershed Wetland Restoration Plan, summarizing the scope and conclusions of the study of the Calleguas Creek Watershed in southeastern Ventura County.
