Manhole Covers of Sacramento, California

Sacramento is a large city (6th largest in California) located in the Central Valley at the fork of two large rivers, the Sacramento and American Rivers.   It is the capitol of the State of California, founded in 1849 (but not as the capitol then).   Interstate highways 5 and 80, U.S. Highways 50 and 99, and State Routes 16 and 160 pass through Sacramento.   Sacramento has a population of 454,330 people, consisting of 48% White, 22% Hispanic, 15% African-American, and 17% Asian.   The median family income of Sacramento residents is $42,051 and the per capita income is $18,721.   Government is the primary economy of Sacramento.   Additional information about Sacramento can be found at Sacramento Info and Sacramento City web sites.
